R. SHARATH WORKSHOP

We are excited to welcome Pattabhi Jois’s grandson, R. Sharath, to San Francisco for a two-week workshop this May. His first solo visit to the Bay area will be held at Terra Gallery (www.terrasf.com) in SOMA. Sharath will conduct a led primary class both weeks, and a led intermediate class the second week. In addition, for students of the workshop, he’ll hold two conferences at AYSF – dates and time to be announced. To ramp up for Sharath’s visit, we are introducing a led primary session to our schedule on Saturday mornings: 8:00-9:30am. This class, which will start on March 14th, will be open to the community; drop-ins that are familiar with the primary series are welcome ($20 per class).Sharath’s North American 2009 tour also includes visits to New York and Toronto.
