Happy New Year!
In my last post, I mentioned some exciting news on the horizon at Ashtanga Palo Alto. Here's what we have in mind:
1. A return to teaching for Heleen. Starting January 13, Heleen will take over the Tuesday morning Mysore class.
2. Evening Mysore Program. Finally, we have got it on the schedule! Tuesday and Thursday evening, starting Tuesday January 13 from 5:30-7pm.
3. Off the Mat gathering. We thought we would celebrate Evan's 1st birthday and the start of the new year with cake and tea on Saturday January 17. An evite will be send out shortly but in case you don't receive it here are the details:
January 17, 3-6pm at Karen's house (please email us for details)
Because not every child is as fortunate to lead the lives we lead, instead of birthday gifts for Evan we'd like to collect donations for Ammas Orphanage and Youth Hostel. Amma is our spiritual teacher and she runs an incredible worldwide organization of humanitarian activities.
4. Look for more pro-active blogging on my part. I plan to start publishing articles and insights that I've collected over the last few years.
